When writing the Independent Research Summary, I decided to focus on bowel resection surgery. I talked about the procedure, risks, aftermath, and why people undergo the surgery. The report aims to educate the audience on how the procedure can alter and change a person’s life. Going through numerous research articles has honed my skills in analyzing data, interpreting information, and evaluating which sources to use.
